Every year a different city hosts the convention for the American Federation of Ramallah Palestine.  This year, Houston is honored to be the hosting city of the Annual Ramallah Convention, at the Houston Marriott Westchase, from July 6 to July 9, 2017.  We plan on having multiple events throughout the weekend for all ages, from kids/adult activities during the day, to banquets/parties at night!  We look forward to reuniting family members, meeting new people, and connecting with one another, throughout the exciting weekend we have planned for everyone.

Transportation

The transportation company we are using, Aambassador Limousine & Transportation, will provide transportation to and from both Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) for the following set prices: 

  • $70 per trip one-way (Luxury Sedan)
  • $85 per trip one-way (SUV)
  • $150 per trip one-way (Van – 11 passengers)

Please go to www.aambassador.com/ramallah to make your reservations. Be sure to type in “Houston Marriott Westchase” (on Briarpark Drive) as either the Pick-Up Location or Drop-Off Location (depending on your departure/arrival to and from the hotel).

Information You Need To Know

Babysitting Services

We will have babysitting available in one of the rooms near the hotel lobby, from 6pm – 2am Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for a set cost, per child.

During the day, you can utilize Angel Sitters to babysit your children, if you wish to attend events. You can access their website at www.angelsitters.com for more information and pricing.  All Angel Sitters are carefully screened and are reliable, caring individuals, who are experienced in infant and child care. If you have any questions, you can contact their office directly at 713-467-0210.

Hair Salon

Hairdressers will be available by appointment only at the Houston Westchase Marriott Hotel. We will have a sign-up sheet available at Registration, to book your appointment. There is limited space. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Hair Salon will only be available on Saturday, 7/8/2017. Your hair must be ready for styling. No shampooing or haircuts will be provided.

Banquet Seating

To reserve multiple seats or a table, all badges MUST BE presented at time of reservation. One seat per badge. For multiple seats, badges must be presented for each seat. NO EXCEPTIONS! The sign-up for Banquet Seating will be available during Registration hours (see schedule of events located on our website). Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis (with presented badges).

Hookah Tent

The cost per hookah/argileh is $25.00 and will be available for use in the Hookah Tent.

It is important to keep your badge on you at ALL times. Badges must be on persons for security reasons.
